OK Betong, Yala Province

This trip was during Songkran. It took me a long time to find a place to stay because during this time many Malaysians come to visit. When I woke up in the morning, it was cold, but in the late morning, it was normally hot. The famous chicken rice shop was full of people, so I looked for another shop. I tried it and it was normal. I personally like the one near my house more. After eating, we went to the Piyamit Tunnel. There is a famous grass jelly at the entrance. We stopped to eat. It was delicious. The road from the entrance is easy to drive on. Both sides of the road look like you are in the North. It is a mountain all the way to the entrance of the tunnel. We have to pay an entrance fee to enter the tunnel. The first part is a natural forest walk. The air is very hot. But when you enter the tunnel, it is cool and comfortable. The diggers are very skilled. When you exit the tunnel, there is a thousand-year-old tree for you to take a photo and check in as a souvenir..before going back. During the festival, Betong is very crowded. It is not a slow-life city. If you want it to be quiet, don't come during the festival.. #VisitYala #Betong #PiyamitTunnel
