On the mountain ridge 🏔️ A new resort in a village in western Sichuan The Mediterranean Black Dragon Lake Resort, designed by AIM Architecture, was inspired by the local Linpan village. Linpan village is known for its eclectic layout, green courtyards, fields, and forests, creating a harmonious picture of architecture and nature. Therefore, a series of greenery and flowers were planted around the hotel rooms, and corridors were used to connect different areas. The main lobby is organically evolved from the corridor and becomes the center of the resort. The towering and vertical language at the entrance transitions into a horizontal and open structure through curves, perfectly showcasing the beautiful scenery of the lakeside. The main building roof and corridor are made of wood, echoing traditional architecture and reminiscent of ship-shaped elements, while meeting sustainable design goals.
