Boseong Tea Plantation – Worth the Journey for These Green Views

Getting to Boseong Tea Plantation (대한다원 보성녹차밭) wasn’t the easiest thing — it felt like a mini adventure in itself. We first took the subway to Hwajeong Station in Gwangju, then walked about 20 minutes to U-Square Bus Terminal. After some ticket-machine confusion and a bit of trial and error, we finally figured out how to buy bus tickets to Boseong Bus Terminal. But wait — it doesn’t end there. From the terminal, we had to hop on another local bus to reach the actual tea plantation. Luckily, everything fell into place, and when we finally arrived, those lush, terraced hills of green made every step worth it. The air smelled of fresh tea leaves, the view was unbelievably calming, and the scenery was straight out of a postcard.
