A breathtaking lake, “Lago Di Braies”

“Lago di Braies” is the Italian Dolomites’ crown jewel. For those living under a rock who haven’t heard of it, Lake Braies is a crystal blue lake beneath an amphitheatre of rock. It is a breathtaking location I fell in love with this lake. You can hire a car to get there or catch a bus but I recommend to hire a 🚘, you can also enjoy the amazing view of road trip. If you plan to visit vitally and also a nature lover, “Lake Braies” or “Lago Di. braise” is a must visit 🇮🇹🏔️🌊

The view of Lake Braies from above is the most standard angle, with the surrounding mountains and blue-green lake in the same frame, it is simply a twin of Lake Louise under the Rocky Mountains.

Lago di Braies

Lago di Braies, (aka Pragser Wildsee in German and Lake Braies in English) is part of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park, in a side valley next to the Val Pusteria. At an altitude of 1,496 m (4,908 ft), the 77-acre lake makes for a wonderful half-day trip while traveling through the Prags Dolomites. On the West side of the lake, there is a small chapel that was built in 1904. The location has a curious bit of history related to World War II, as has the hotel. It’s truly a beautiful lake, but has gained a lot of fame through Instagram and during the summer it can be filled with tourists. Choose wisely when to go (it is beautiful also in winter when frozen) and reserve online the parking of you are going by car or motorbike. #unforgettableexperiences #awesomepic #instagramworthydestinations #scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #urbanexplorer #summervacationtravel #springholiday #wintergetaway #tripaway
