Legend has it that a vampire once lived here. Do you dare to visit?

When I traveled to Romania, I made a special trip to Dracula's Castle, 30 km outside of Brasov. The official name of the castle is Bran Castle. In fact, it was only home to a tyrant. In the late 19th century, Irish writer Bram Stoker wrote a very famous novel called "Dracula," which was set in this castle. The story has been adapted for the screen many times, with "Bram Stoker's Dracula" being the most faithful to the original. Because the story is so well-known, people have come to define this castle as a vampire castle. To add to the atmosphere, there is even a sign outside the castle that reads "Please do not come here late at night." There are also medieval torture devices inside the castle, including a chair with spikes, which made me a little scared. Although the castle is a little creepy, the town outside is very lively, with many roadside restaurants and a mature tourism industry. I had lunch there, and it was pretty good. ☀️The bus route is a bit complicated, so here's a little guide: 1️⃣ Take bus 16 from the bus center in the city center for 7 stops (fare: 4 lei). After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at the long-distance bus station, Autogara. 2️⃣ After getting off the bus, go to the terminal window next to the gas station and say "Bran Castle." The staff will tell you which bus stop to wait at (note that when they say "bus 2," they mean stop 2, not bus 2). You can buy tickets at the window or on the bus. 3️⃣ After about 45 minutes, you will arrive in the town. The road is a bit bumpy. After getting off the bus, cross the road and walk 50 meters along the left-hand side. When you see a large number of craft stalls, turn right and walk straight to the ticket office and the entrance to the scenic area. Tickets cost 35 lei. After entering the scenic area, you can go directly up the hill to the castle.
