Garden of Philosophers in Budapest

#myhiddengems in Budapest, Hungary is the Garden of Philosophers. Located on the steep edge of Gellert Hill is this sculpture garden showcasing some of the greatest philosophers/religious figures from history. It is a quiet sanctuary in a big park with stunning views over the city: Castle Hill on Buda side as well the Danube with Pest in the background. Even though it is just 15 minutes from the Citadel (pne of the favourite sights to visit for tourists), this place is less featured in guidebooks or travel blogs and videos so mostly locals go there to chill or walk dog. It’s a great place to take social media-worthy photos, do a picnic or for just people watching. Have you ever been here or heard of this place?
