Exploring the capital city of Budapest’s natural assets is also an adventure, with Gellert Hill and Eagle Hill being just out of reach in the crowded city centre, but that doesn’t stop them from being havens of tranquility. 👉【Bük National Park】: The beauty of this area is simply unimaginable. The roads leading to attractions such as Veil Waterfall, Lillofüred or Silvasvarod go deep into the forest and pass by trout lakes. If you visit the park in suitable weather, you can see the stunning geysers of Beek. After heavy rains, and especially after snowmelt, karst water rushes to the surface with a loud roar. In this national park you can learn about the rich history of the world-famous Lipizzaner horses. Diosgyel Castle and Raven Rock Village also await you for unforgettable adventures. 🧡【Hortobagy National Park】: Hortobagy National Park was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. Spend the night on straw mats under the stars and wake up to the sound of galloping horses coming to their troughs; see water buffalo or learn how Hortobagy’s characteristic waterwheel works; watch impressive horsemen performances at sunset; observe blue-throated birds at Hortobagy fish ponds; take a jeep ride to see cranes; or gain insight into the daily life of local shepherds. The legendary Nine Arch Bridge on the edge of Hortobagy village along Route 33 is a must-see.
