Budapest Day 1 Morning Itinerary: Szechenyi Baths

#Travel itinerary ♨️Szechenyi Baths, famous for being one of the three major baths in Budapest! You can make reservations online, but if you enter before 9 AM on a weekday, you can get an early bird discount(?), so you can use it for almost 10,000 won less! For 2 people, I bought 1 basic locker & 1 cabin, and it cost about 36,000 won per person:) You can use Travel Wallet! ♨️After changing clothes freely in the cabin, go to the outdoor bath, and there are 3 pools: a lazy river(?)/main pool/swimming pool rain pool. As of March 25, 2025, the middle rain pool was under construction. ♨️Before enjoying the full-fledged bath, I recommend taking some pictures and then enjoying a hot bath! ♨️There is an indoor bath, but when I went there, it felt like a bathhouse?, so I didn't really need to go, but there were a lot of baths! ♨️I played for about 90 minutes and then went back to the hotel to wash up, so I just washed up and came outㅎㅎ There's a small dehydrator that you can use for free! ♨️I recommend bringing a swimsuit/towel/slippers in advance! ♨️When you leave the Szechenyi Baths, there's a cafe that sells chimney bread across the street. They bake it right after you order it, so you can eat freshly made, warm chimney breadㅜㅜ I had the cinnamon flavor, and it tastes even better after taking a bath, so you should definitely try it!
