Naga Cave is a newly discovered cave around the end of 2019. Merit-making tourists will go up to pay respect to the pagodas of Luang Pu Wang and Luang Pu Sao on the mountaintop and find Naga Cave hidden in the forest. There are large groups of rocks, curved and round, similar to coiling in layers, with fish scales or snake scales, looking like the coils of a Naga. Later, Naga Cave was opened to tourists for the first time in the second half of 2020. To get to Naga Cave, you have to walk up about 1,200 meters. We must register at the entrance to the cave first and there will be an officer to take us up (people are not allowed to go up by themselves without a guide). It is recommended to come in the morning. The earlier the better because it will not be hot and the last queue is at 2:00 PM. We spent about 6 hours (round trip) visiting the Naga Cave and paying homage to the pagoda on top of the mountain. Preparation 1) It is recommended to wear good non-slip shoes and gloves (if you have them, it is good) because in the beginning, there will be climbing, holding on to branches and trees to prevent cutting your hands from the branches. Then there will be steep stairs. Once you go up, it will be easier to walk. The path is not steep anymore. 2) We found 2 small bottles of drinking water and snacks to satisfy our hunger. There is no place to throw trash up there. We had to bring everything down to throw it away. 3) Long-sleeved shirts / long pants to cover the body to prevent insect bites. It is best to visit when the weather is not hot. Winter is better. 4) Use the bathroom properly. There is a bathroom up there, but it is a natural water source. Sometimes there is a shortage of water, so you cannot do personal business. Camping overnight up there is also prohibited.
