Rocky, Breezy, and Kinda Epic

#summervacay Alright, Baekyangsan’s Samgakbong peak? What a ride. This one’s got a bit of everything, rocky climbs, chill forest trails, and some pretty sweet viewpoints along the way. The hike starts off mellow enough, winding through the trees with birds chirping and that earthy forest smell. But don’t be fooled, it kicks up a notch once you start heading toward Samgakbong. There’s a bit of scrambling involved (yay, hands and knees!), but it keeps things exciting. Totally worth it once you hit the peak, open views, crisp air, and that satisfying “I made it” feeling. You can even spot bits of the city down below if the weather’s clear. Not too crowded either, which made the whole experience feel kinda personal, like you and the mountain are just hanging out. Bring water, maybe a snack, and definitely good shoes, those rocks can get sneaky. Baekyangsan Samgakbong isn’t the tallest, but it delivers big-time vibes. Would 100% hike it again!
