Geumjeongsan Grind

#summervacay Finally tackled Geumjeongsan in Busan and man, this mountain’s got it all. The trail options are endless, so you can totally choose your own adventure, from chill strolls to leg-burning climbs. I started near Beomeosa Temple (which is already a cool spot), then hit the trail through dense forest with that perfect mix of shade and fresh air. The hike gets pretty real in some spots, hello, steep stone steps, but nothing too crazy if you pace yourself. Along the way, you run into parts of the old fortress wall, and it’s straight-up epic. Feels like walking through history with a side of cardio. Once you hit the top? panoramic city and sea views that make all the effort totally worth it. There are spots to chill, snack, and just vibe out with the scenery. Plus, lots of friendly hikers and even a few mountain dogs doing their rounds. Geumjeongsan is a must if you’re in Busan. History, nature, views… this one checks all the boxes.
