[Cairo Sightseeing] Egyptian National Museum

#FreeHongKongAirTickets #Egypt I visited the Egyptian National Museum of Civilization when I went on a trip to Cairo, Egypt, and I'd like to introduce it to you! The Egyptian National Museum of Civilization officially opened in April 2021. The exterior has a very modern design, and since it's new, the facilities were clean. It was less crowded than the Archaeological Museum, and it was easier to visit. I was able to purchase tickets immediately. The museum exhibits various periods of Egyptian civilization, from prehistoric times, ancient Egypt, Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic, and modern times. Ancient makeup sets were on display, which was very interesting for me as a woman. In the basement, there is a mummy hall where you can carefully observe each and every pharaoh's mummy. The mummies that were previously kept in the Archaeological Museum have been moved to the National Museum of Civilization. The hall is dimly lit and has a very mysterious atmosphere. I saw the mummies of the successive kings Amenhotep and Ramses. I was impressed by the fact that many of the mummies still had their hair intact.
