Is Can Picafort the ideal base whilst staying in Mallorca?

The beaches here in Can Picafort are a beautiful golden sand which are comfortable for sun bathing and relaxing. The beaches are complimented by the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea which is perfect for swimming in during the summer months. The beaches can be quite narrow at parts here, so stay tuned for my top tip of a perfect beach within walking distance of Can Picafort later on in the video. There are also lockers available on the beach for a small fee. So if you decide to go for a swim or have a little snooze whilst sunbathing, you can rest assured that your belongings will be safe and sound. Walking along the promenade, there’s plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy. There are a lot of art installations and historical monuments along the coast here in Can Picafort. These are signposted with a QR code, so if you want to learn a bit more about their history and significance, you can do with just the tap of your phone. Or you can up and explore these artworks or monuments at face value. For the sporty, there’s plenty to do in Can Picafort. Along the promenade, there’s a separate lane for joggers and cyclists. There’s also an outdoor gym and there’s also an area to rent boats and paddle boards. Around Can Picafort, there’s plenty of wallart on display and it’s a nice touch to the area. They’re constantly adding more art displays, and here’s one that was being added during my stay in the area. Here’s my pick of a brilliant restaurant to eat and drink at - Cas Padrí. This cute restaurant has sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding mountains. There are a number of rocking chairs available that can be used to chill out on with a glass of sangria to hand. The food is a bit pricey but the quality, service and views make it well worth it. Now it’s time to discover an absolutely fascinating and hidden gem. Though not strictly in Can Picafort, this historic landmark is just a short walk from Can Picafort in Santa Margalida. It is the Necropolis de son real, dating back to the 7th Century BCE - making it over 2600 years old. You can explore the necropolis at your leisure. It’s completely free of charge to wander around, and there are signposts which give a little bit of history and insight to the place. However, make sure that you don’t climb or jump on the tombs as it is an archaeological site and the Mallorca’s authorities are working hard to ensure the site is preserved for many more centuries to come. #travel #mallorca #spain #europe #canpicafort #holiday #vacation

Can Picafort

Last day in Zagreb Just looking at the information about going to 16 lakes tomorrow (10/6/2019) Found that the website has been updated and reservations are open two days earlier! ! ! ! what to do! ! ! We thought we could just buy the tickets when we arrived! ! Can’t control it! Friday is a weekday and it’s not the peak season. Let’s go and see! It rained two days ago. It was a very sunny day on the 10th! We bought the tickets online in advance. FlixBus is really useful in Europe You can check out its official website We booked the earliest bus at 6:45AM (Zagreb > Plitvicka Jezera) 2 hours and 15 minutes by car Arrived at 9:00AM just after the doors opened Fortunately, you can still walk in and buy tickets! Adults need 150HRK Students only need 75 HRK~ (bring ID!) The price increases every year! ! ! ! (Updated: 19-06-2019) Peak season: 250HRK, students: 160HRK There is a big difference! You can also check the official website of plitvicka-jezera before departure. But it's really worth coming here! ! ! ! Very beautiful! ! ! ! ! Nature makes people fall in love ~ very comfortable ~ ——————————— The car will stop at two entrances I personally recommend getting off at Entrance 1 (you must go to Entrance 1 if you want to put your luggage) Because our next stop is ZADAR~ I'm leaving with my luggage. Fortunately, there is free storage~~ They only give you one key to put your luggage in the hut Keys must be returned within 5 minutes Because everyone holds the key and keeps it for themselves. Safety is not guaranteed, but those who go there are tourists, so you can rest assured~ ——————————— Entrance 1 is the entrance to the Lower Lake District There are fewer people in the morning, so you can go to the waterfall first. We were so lucky, the weather was nice and we even saw a huge rainbow! All the images are right before your eyes ~ so magnificent ~! Very beautiful But be careful with your electronic products, they may splash water. Haha~ (Like my photo, it’s a little wet haha) Feeder: P1 <> P2 or P3 <> P1 Unlimited rides on ST1, ST2 and ST3 Our route: Entrance 1 --> Big Falls --> Walk to ST1 --> Shuttle bus to ST2 --> Take boat from P1 to P2 --> Walk to ST3 --> Shuttle bus to ST2 --> Take boat from P1 to P3 --> Walk back to Big Falls --> Entrance 1 *P3 has a restaurant (a bit expensive, recommended to bring your own food) See the pictures afterwards! The water is really clear. Not too fast or too slow, it took about 5 hours to finish the walk Finally, we passed another waterfall and returned to ST1, completing the 16-lake tour. It's really, really the place that impressed me the most. It's so beautiful! After visiting 16 lakes, I am looking forward to the next journey. It's time to get ready to go to ZADAR~ to see the most beautiful sunset~ ——————————— #travel #travelphotography #photography #romantictrip #travelblogger #summer #trip #adventure #vacation #travelling #explore #picoftheday #travelguide #travelplan #holiday #landscape #beautiful #europe #traveller #travelblog #hktravel #blogger #travelblogger #islandholiday #familytravel #plitvicka #croatia #zagreb #naturalwonders
