Trekking Sass Pordoi: A Limestone Adventure

#outdooradventure Trekking at Sass Pordoi was an exhilarating experience. The hike featured easy paths with some ups and downs across a desolate limestone landscape. About midway past Rifugio Boè, a long steep descent began, including a short cable section down a steep gully—manageable for experienced hikers. After the rifugio, the descent was aided by a system of cables down to Gardena Pass. This section, though long and challenging, was not difficult if you have some cable experience. The descent continued on steep, slippery gravel, but the majestic views lit by the afternoon sun made it all worthwhile. Sass Pordoi offers an unforgettable trekking adventure with stunning scenery and a touch of thrill.
