Castle Hill: The Magnificent Stone Circle

After driving for 1 hour from Christchurch, we finally came to Castle Hill. Upon entering the castle hill/Kura Tāwhiti trail, the whole person immediately entered the fantasy world. But remember, this is a sanctuary for the Maori Ngāi Tahu, so no dogs, no stepping on some protective plants, and remember not to litter. Although the road is easy to walk, it is recommended to wear good shoes, the rocks are sometimes wet and slippery. If you like natural scenery and don’t want to work too hard, this is definitely one of the must-sees in the South Island! #New Zealand itinerary
