Eating pork ribs in a cave? Krčma Šatlava, a cellar restaurant in the town of CK

Luckily, we asked on the spot and found out there was room for dinner the next day, so of course we made a reservation immediately. Walking into Krčma Šatlava is like stepping into a medieval European scene. The atmosphere of the brick-walled cave is very well created, with some antique ornaments and a retro fireplace. Dining under the dim, swaying light is really a special experience. The cellar restaurant is famous for its pork knuckle ribs, which are large in portion, well-seasoned, tender and chewy. They are quite outstanding. The roasted pork neck (pine board) is also delicious. As for the traditional German bread soup, I really can't get used to it. The taste is too salty, and the bread becomes mushy after being soaked in the soup. I personally don't like it very much. There are a lot of group guests in the whole restaurant. It seems that the Czech tour groups all choose to eat at this restaurant, so the business is very hot.
