A beautiful wooden palace by the sea

Mrigadayavan Palace is located in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province, near Hua Hin. It is a seaside palace that King Rama VI built as a Thai-European style palace. It is a wooden building on stilts, made of golden teak. It consists of three throne halls connected to each other throughout. It is a seaside residence used for relaxation. It is currently closed for renovation. On the day I went (2018), it was still open. The entrance fee is 30 baht.
