Sothon Wararam Worawihan Temple

📌 Located on the banks of the Bang Pakong River, Na Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang Chachoengsao District, Chachoengsao Province, it is a third-class royal temple, Worawihan type. 🙏 Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan, formerly known as Wat Hong, was built in the late Ayutthaya period during the reign of King Narai the Great. It is the home of Luang Pho Phutthasothon, the city's sacred Buddha image of Chachoengsao. It is a stucco Buddha image in the meditation posture, 1.65 meters wide and 1.98 meters high, made by Lan Xang craftsmen. 📝 According to legend, Luang Pho Phutthasothon is a bronze Buddha image in the meditation posture, 1 cubit wide. It has a very beautiful shape. It performed a miracle by floating in the water and someone invited it to be enshrined at this temple.
