Phanom Rung Historical Park

Phanom Rung Historical Park, Buriram Province 👍Located on the top of an extinct volcano, it is a Shaivite Brahmin temple. It was originally a brick temple in the Koh Ker style. It has been continuously renovated and built over many eras. It is made of pink sandstone and is located on the top of Phanom Rung, 1,320 feet above sea level. The name Phanom Rung means big mountain. 🌝On April 2-4 and September 8-10 of every year, the sun rises and shines through all 15 doorways.
