Chamonix (Day Trip)

After spending two days in Geneva, Switzerland, we decided to take a local coach to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. The return journey cost around £20 per adult and took approximately an hour and a half. The coach conveniently drops you off in the heart of the Chamonix ski village, where you’re instantly surrounded by stunning alpine scenery. If booked in advance, you can take the gondola up to the summit of Mont Blanc. However, if tickets are sold out, an excellent alternative is the charming red train that climbs the mountainside, offering equally breathtaking views. The local restaurants are reasonably priced, and the food is fantastic—making it a day trip from Geneva that’s absolutely worth taking. #travel#thingstodo
