Wat That Noi

Wat That Noi or Wat Phra That Noi is located in Lak Chang Subdistrict, Chang Klang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. It was established by the wish of Father Than Klai (Phra Khru Phisit Atthakan), a highly revered monk in the South. His disciples and the people who respected and believed in Father Than Klai believed in the sacredness of his words. Whatever he said would come true. He often blessed everyone, asking for happiness. Father Than Klai Wachasit is known as the angel of Mueang Kon, the god of the South. The people of Mueang Kon are very devoted and believe in him. He enshrined the relics and remains of Father Than Klai in a glass coffin in the chedi. Currently, Father Than Klai Wachasit’s remains are enshrined in the chedi at this location, making it a memorial chedi for Father Than Klai. Father Than Klai’s remains, which are said to be as hard as stone, have been worshipped by the villagers, which has made people flock to pay homage even more.
