My second stay at my favorite hotel in Changsha was amazing... Thanks to a Changsha local for recommending this hotel!! It's an entire standalone building!! So new, spacious, and comfortable!! Everything from the decor and bedding to the service and location...it's just perfect for me!! This Sino-Soviet style building from 1952 was actually where Chairman Mao once stayed! The living room and study still retain details from that era, and the wall of old photos is full of history. The most incredible thing is that this entire building was moved 35 meters in 2018, transforming a historical relic into a trendy guesthouse! The red gradient design is stunning, and the "Mountains All Red" art installation in the lobby makes for fantastic photos. Staying here isn't just about sleeping in a hotel; it's about sleeping within Changsha's urban memory! We stayed for three days!!! Didn't want to check out!! It was so comfortable! Located in the heart of Changsha!! Just a few minutes' walk from Wuyi Square, Furong Square… A large bathtub, refrigerator, electric toilet, gym, library...everything you need is here! The bathroom has a separate shower and tub! You can even change outfits for photoshoots. Every detail is perfect!!!
