Located by the Xiang River at Fisherman's Wharf, you'll spot it as soon as you go down the stairs📍 Li Ji Red Lantern, my go-to treasure of a street-side stall. Every time out-of-town friends visit Changsha, I take them here. Not only can you enjoy the scenic views of the Xiang River, but the food is also fantastic!! Flavorful crayfish, spicy giant river prawns—plump and firm, with an addictive numbing spice that no Hunanese can resist! I'm obsessed~ Also🤤 stir-fried beef brisket fat, crayfish omelet, squid fried noodles, cured duck with frog... you can't go wrong with any order. The owner loves experimenting with desserts too—shaved ice with herbal jelly, fermented rice ice jelly, perilla peach... each one is delicious! You really can't find these flavors in many other places in Changsha👍🏻
