Palyongsan Stone Pagoda Park is located at the entrance to Changwon's natural forest trail, making it an ideal spot for a family outing. The gentle slopes are easy to walk on, even for strollers or young children. As you enter, rows of densely built stone pagodas greet you, sparking curiosity in children who exclaim, "Wow, who made all of these?" These pagodas were started by a local resident, Lee Sam-yong, in 1993, and now there are about 1,000 of them. As families walk hand in hand, they often imagine the meanings behind each stone and make small prayers or wishes. Further up, there are picnic areas under gazebos and tree shade, perfect for unpacking snacks and lunch while enjoying the scenery. The landscape of the forest and stone pagodas also makes for great photo opportunities. Though the sound of the valley stream isn't louder than the chirping of cicadas, it gently permeates the ears like nature's soft voice, offering a subtle healing experience for everyone.
