Phlio Waterfall National Park

If you visit Chanthaburi, you can't miss Phlio Waterfall, one of the province's most famous attractions. This waterfall also holds historical significance as King Rama V visited it 12 times during his reign. He even commissioned the construction of the "Pyramid of Love" as a memorial to Queen Sunandha Kumariratana, his consort. Inside the stupa, the ashes of the Queen are enshrined, and it is commonly referred to as the "Queen's Sunken Ship Pyramid." Phlio Waterfall National Park is located in the Sra Bap Mountain Range in Laem Sing District, Chanthaburi Province. The park features a stunning waterfall, diverse wildlife, and various plant species, creating a cool and pleasant atmosphere year-round. Additionally, the waterfall is home to numerous fish species, ranging from small to very large. The most commonly found fish are the Pla Pluang Hin (Stone Carp), which are so abundant that visitors might hesitate to dip their feet in the water. You can enjoy the refreshing water in designated areas approved by park officials.
