The Final Chapter of Chaoyang Phoenix Mountain: The Misleading Path of Tianqing Temple and the Moment of Auspicious Clouds

After checking in at the Buddha Pagoda Temple, there is a main road leading out of the scenic area. However, at this moment, I noticed the mountain gate of Tianqing Temple nearby, which inadvertently led me to climb Phoenix Mountain a second time. 🙇 . Initially, I just wanted to take more photos of the scenery along the way, checking in at the Maitreya Hall, Guanyin Hall, and a drum tower inside Tianqing Temple. Normally, it would be the most cost-effective to go down from here, but at that time, I didn't know this was also a path to the summit. I thought it was just another fork in the road like the previous temples, so I kept going up. 🙅 . However, the mountain path on the Tianqing Temple side is not easy to walk. It can be said to be much more difficult than the Xiangshan Eighteen Bends and the winding mountain road, simply because the mountain path here is all slopes. In some places, there are footprints 👣 to step into, but where there are no footprints, it becomes very steep. 🧐 . After winding on this slope for a long time, when I saw the large Guanyin statue above again, I realized that this was also a path to the summit. 🙇 . So, in this Phoenix Mountain, I climbed to the summit twice. First, I went up through the Xiangshan Eighteen Bends, then came down via the winding mountain road, and then went up again from Tianqing Temple, and finally came down the same way from Tianqing Temple. It was a roundabout way, adding unnecessary detours. 😓 . After coming down from Tianqing Temple, I walked towards the exit of the scenic area, but instead of taking the wooden plank road I came on, I walked on the wide road. 🚶 . On the way, I saw many tourists checking in the auspicious clouds in the sky. I also prepared to record it, but by the time I took off my backpack, put on my jacket, put my backpack back on, placed my water bottle and phone, and started the countdown (because I thought I had finished checking in and was ready to leave in short sleeves, the auspicious clouds were an unexpected surprise), the auspicious clouds had already become very small and not as beautiful. 😓 . Later, on the way down, I found another nice cloud, but it was still much inferior to the previous large auspicious cloud. 🙇 . Then I passed by a stone tablet of Jixiang Lake. I didn't see this stone tablet when I came because I took the wooden plank road inside. Now that I saw it, it's not too late to record it. 🧐 . All the way, I kept looking back at the small road I had walked on. The scenery was still very beautiful. 🚶 . Finally, I walked out of the mountain gates. The words on the back were different from the front I saw when I came. At this moment, I saw the words 'The Holy Mountain of the World'. My trip to Chaoyang Phoenix Mountain ended here. I took the No. 14 bus and prepared to return to Chaoyang City. 🤷‍♂️
