I was so excited I cried! You must stay at this hotel when you come to Chengdu!

🏨Grand Hyatt Chengdu: 😎First of all, I have to say that there are a lot of good reviews about this hotel on the forum, which made me have high expectations; but the actual experience was different. I didn't expect to get a room upgrade when I booked with points, but everyone said that this hotel always upgrades to a suite. There was a suite available the day before check-in, but it was gone the next day. This was a little disappointing. 😜The Grand Club is very strict (I'm not complaining 😜), and they insist that you can't take anything out, not even coffee or breakfast. 🏠The room decor is a bit dated. Although it is Tony Chi's masterpiece, time has left its mark. The basic room is not big, and there is not much space left after putting a suitcase in the aisle. The mini bar is free, with four bottles of Nongfu Spring, a bottle of Coke, and a bottle of Sprite, which is quite rich. There are many mirrors in the room, so you can see yourself from all angles, which is a unique experience. 🍱I had breakfast in the lobby one day and in the Grand Club the next day. The quality was similar, and the a la carte dishes in the Grand Club were not particularly amazing or exquisite. The overall breakfast was good, and there were many diners. The overall breakfast level was still satisfactory. 🙋‍♂️I must emphasize that the location of the hotel is great. Downstairs is Chunxi Road, and it is very close to have a late-night snack, take a walk, or go shopping in Taikoo Li. The hotel service is also very good, and every employee is very enthusiastic and attentive to guests. The training and management are very good. 📍From the perspective of booking with points, it is quite good; but everyone praised it too much, which made me have high expectations. Anyway, I won't come again.
