If you come to Chengdu, you must stay at this affordable hotel!

I've stayed at Marriott hotels for a long time, but this is my first time experiencing luxury hotel service at the Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu. I've always wanted to check in here, but I never had the time. I often read reviews about this hotel online, and this time I had some free time, so I decided to come to the Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu. There are many reviews about this hotel online, both good and bad, so my comments only represent my own feelings and opinions. Service: I read online reviews saying that the service is sometimes not up to standard, but during my stay, the service was excellent. From the moment I entered the lobby on the first floor to the elevator, I was greeted with a warm welcome, and they even helped me press the elevator button. When I arrived at the lobby on the 25th floor to check in, it was around noon, and the room wasn't ready yet. The front desk wasn't very helpful. I had communicated in advance through the app about purchasing access to the executive lounge, but the front desk didn't handle it well. After a while, I mentioned that I wanted to buy access to the lounge, and the front desk introduced the five meals available in the lounge and gave me a form. Then, another staff member took me to the lounge, and I started eating. The food was okay, but not exceptional. Every day, there was a live cooking dish. On the first day, it was lamb bones, beef shank, or lamb. In the evening, it was pan-fried rainbow trout. They were all good, but after this experience, I probably won't buy access to the lounge again if I'm staying alone. It's not necessary, as there are plenty of dining options outside. I was just lazy and didn't want to go downstairs. Rooms: I was given a business suite, which was quite spacious and had a business-like atmosphere. The bed was very soft, and the shower room was excellent. The bathtub TV didn't work, but the room had a smart toilet, which was nice. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and turned down the bed for me. They also greeted me when I left and returned, saying, "Sir, you're back." It was my first time experiencing this (sorry, I'm not used to it), but I really want to praise the housekeeping staff. I forgot to take a photo of their name, sorry. There were no welcome fruits or handwritten notes, and I had to call to request them. They provided a small box of blueberries, cherries, and grapes, which was a bit stingy. Overall, it was okay. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, which was nice. In general, it was a good experience. The lounge manager, Sun, was also very nice, as well as the duty manager and the guest relations department. They even gave me a keychain, which I shamelessly asked for. In conclusion, staying at a hotel is all about experiencing it for yourself. There are always pros and cons. Next time, I'll bring my partner for my birthday.
