Tangchang Ancient Town, a corner of ancient charm with blooming red plum blossoms

Tangchang Ancient Town, plum blossoms are in full bloom🌸||On the weekend, I went to the lesser-known Tangchang Ancient Town in Pidu. Tangchang has a history of more than 1,300 years and is known as "Tangchang for a day, Chongning for a thousand years." There are many preserved buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, as well as mansions and courtyards. The old streets and alleys are not overly commercialized. Residents live in the ancient town, full of the atmosphere of daily life. It is truly a hidden gem and low-key ancient town. The red plum blossoms on the ancient street are in full bloom. Strolling through the ancient alleys, the gray tiles and red plum blossoms complement each other. The old streets and ancient buildings of Tangchang are mainly near Chongning Confucian Temple, which consists of Confucian Temple, Dachun Alley, Wenchang Palace Alley, Meihuajing, and Southwest Horse Road. 🏕Citywalk route: Confucian Temple - Caoshi - Chongning Park - Dachun Alley - Southwest Horse Road (ancient city wall) - Wenchang Palace - Meihuajing - Maibu Alley Attractions 1️⃣Dachun Alley/Maibu Alley/Meihuajing: Here you can experience the simple and vibrant city life. At the corners of the old streets and beside the mottled walls, the red plum blossoms are in full bloom. 2️⃣Chongning Park: Known as "Tangchang's Little Jiangnan," the park is filled with small bridges, flowing water, pavilions, and towers, exuding the charm of Jiangnan water towns. 3️⃣Chongning Confucian Temple: It has the only existing Hanlin Academy in western Sichuan. 4️⃣Wenchang Palace Alley: This is a great place to experience the history of the ancient town. 5️⃣Southwest Horse Road: You can climb the ancient city wall along the horse road to take a look.
