A must-stay hotel in Chengdu!!!

Waldorf Astoria Chengdu: A Shining Pearl in the City Center Recently, I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Chengdu (WA). As soon as I entered the hotel, I was captivated by its unique charm. It's especially suitable for celebrating New Year's Eve in Chengdu. 🏢 Location: The hotel is located near the Twin Towers in the High-tech Zone, above the Intime i99 Mall. After arriving at the first-floor reception lobby, there is a direct elevator to the hotel front desk on the 50th floor (lobby sky). There are many landmarks nearby, such as Intime i99, Global Center, Twin Towers, Jiaozi Park, and Chengdu SKP, making it very convenient for travel and sightseeing. 🧹 Soundproofing and Hygiene: The hotel has excellent soundproofing, and during my stay, I could hardly hear any noise from outside, allowing for a peaceful rest. The hygiene is impeccable, with the room being clean and tidy, and all facilities neatly arranged and spotless. From the bed to the bathroom, every detail reflects high-quality hygiene standards. 🏘️ Room Type and Layout: The room layout is reasonable, with clear functional divisions. If you like the Twin Towers view, you can inform the front desk to request a south-facing room when checking in. The room is equipped with a bathtub and a walk-in closet, with separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and a smart toilet for convenience. The mini bar offers a full range of drinks, but they are at your own expense. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. 🛌 Amenities and Facilities: The toiletries are a full set of Aesop products, with a thoughtful large bottle design and a rich, pleasant fragrance. The 50th-floor lobby has large floor-to-ceiling windows, and there is currently an Awhite plush toy art exhibition, as well as a giant Christmas tree decorated with 150 dolls, making it a great place for free photo ops (though the lights are turned off at night). The lounge and dining area offer a wide view, allowing you to enjoy the cityscape while savoring delicious food. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and although the taste is average, the service is attentive even during peak hours. Choosing a window seat allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery outside while dining. 💁 Service Experience: The hotel service is top-notch. The reception staff are warm and attentive, proactively helping with luggage and inquiring about turndown service. During the stay, toiletries and water are replenished promptly. After checking out, I realized I left my headphones in the room, and the butler actively helped search for them. Although they were not found, they thoughtfully mailed a custom panda (available for purchase separately for 98 yuan), which was heartwarming. 💗 Other Tips: The hotel shares the 42nd floor with a maternity center, so you may want to avoid it when checking in. You cannot wear hotel bathrobes and slippers to breakfast, so you need to change in your room. Additionally, the hotel offers non-smoking and smoking rooms, so if you dislike the smell of smoke, remember to communicate with the hotel in advance.
