Upon arriving in Chengdu, the first stop is naturally the bustling Chunxi Road. Standing in the IFS International Finance Square, I looked up at the adorable giant panda sculpture, seemingly struggling to "climb over the wall," surrounded by the constant clicks of cameras and delighted exclamations from tourists. Everyone posed for photos with it, as if it had become the city's ambassador of fashion and cuteness. A short walk from Chunxi Road leads to Taikoo Li, where traditional gray-brick courtyards blend seamlessly with modern glass facades, creating a uniquely charming atmosphere. At the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, I finally met those round, fluffy "national treasures." Some pandas were sound asleep on wooden platforms, others sat leisurely munching bamboo, while a few playful ones tumbled and wrestled on the grass—utterly adorable. Their clumsy charm melted my heart, making all worries vanish in an instant. Kuan Alley exudes the old Chengdu lifestyle, with gray-brick courtyards and elderly locals sipping tea at their doorsteps. Zhai Alley brims with artistic vibes, lined with quirky boutiques, cafés, and creative shops. Jing Alley, themed around brick-wall culture, showcases the city's historical evolution. Leaving Chengdu, my heart was filled with reluctance. The city's vibrant energy, like its ever-glowing lights, felt warm and bright. The street food, the leisurely teahouses, and the lively local scenes left me utterly enchanted. This romantic encounter between taste buds and city life became one of the most beautiful chapters in my memories, and Chengdu, one of the most unforgettable cities in my heart.
