Chom Khao Manirat Temple

Nowadays, it is easy to travel to Laos from Chiang Khong District. When arriving at Huay Xai, important places to worship and visit are: Wat Chom Khao Mani Rat (Lao: ວັດຈອມເຂົາມະນີລັດ Wat Chom Khao Mani Lat) is an ancient temple located on a hill above Huay Xai Town, Bokeo Province, Laos, approximately 100 meters high, facing the Mekong River towards Chiang Khong District, Thailand. You can see the view of Huay Xai side, Laos and Chiang Khong District, Thailand. Inside the temple, there is a medium-sized chapel built of teak wood in the Shan style.
