The accommodation is located near the Chiang Khong border checkpoint. The accommodation is in the middle of a natural rice field. The accommodation is a restaurant called Krua Kalong. In the evening, we ate here. The way to the accommodation is quite far from the city, but it is very close to the Chiang Khong border checkpoint. We had the opportunity to stay here because our plan was to take a slow boat to Luang Prabang, Laos. To travel here, we had to enter through the Chiang Khong border checkpoint to enter the Huay Xai pier on the Lao side. The accommodation is a colorful concrete house. We stayed in the first pink house. It has a private bathroom, a table and chairs to sit on, air conditioning, drinking water, towels, a TV, a hot water kettle, and all the amenities are provided. The room is spacious and the bed is very soft. There are also motorbikes for rent to ride around the city. Chiang Khong District, Chiang Rai Province, the northernmost province of Thailand, which has many other tourist attractions. We never thought that staying here to travel on to Chiang Khong District the next day would bring us such a good accommodation.
