Wat Phra Singh in Chiang Mai, Thailand, features a giant golden stupa.

Located on the west side of Chiang Mai's old city, this temple is filled with numerous golden structures. The name 'Wat Phra Singh' includes the word 'Singh,' which means lion, and fittingly, lions guard the temple's main entrance. First built in 1345, the temple has undergone periods of neglect and restoration through various dynasties. It was significantly renovated and expanded in the 1920s, and many buildings were restored in 2002.
