[The most popular temple among Thai people in Chiang Mai] Wat Phra That Doi Kham

The most popular temple among Thai people in Chiang Mai is located on top of a mountain. That is Wat Phrathat Doi Kham! This temple is located on Mount Kham, 15km southwest of the center of Chiang Mai city. The reason why it is so popular is because it has the Buddha statue Luang Por Thanjai, which grants wishes (see last photo). The Luang Por Thanjai itself is actually enshrined in various temples. However, worshippers who visited Wat Phrathat Doi Kham won large lotteries one after another, and the Luang Por Thanjai Buddha at Doi Kham temple became famous in Thailand as a good luck charm. I also visited the temple 🤝✨ There was also a way to worship, such as sticking gold leaf on a ball. Also, since it is on top of a mountain, the view was amazing. It seems that it is overflowing with worshippers on weekends, so I think it is better to go on weekdays.
