See Chiang Mai's ancient temples at Wat Umong

Wat Umong (Suan Phutta Tham) is located on Suthep Road, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province, or behind Chiang Mai University, just like Wat Ram Ping. Wat Umong is considered an ancient temple in Chiang Mai for a long time. It is full of history, such as the old tunnel that Phraya Kue Na graciously built for Phra Maha Thera Chan to use as a place for meditation. Inside, there is an ancient Buddha image for visitors to visit and pay homage to. There is also old but still beautiful architecture inside.
