I went to Chiang Rai & Chiang Mai for Golden Week 2023✈️💕First, I went to the white temple, commonly known as Wat Rong Khun, which I've always wanted to go to🤍🇹🇭 📍 Wat Rong Khun, ChiangRai More than a temple, it's an art building😳✨ It's a pure white and incredibly beautiful space, but if you look closely, it's also creepy. . (Can you see the 3rd picture, the hands sticking out from the bottom and the many skeleton-like faces? lol) This temple was designed by former painter Chalermchai Kositpipat in 1997, and it's only been built for a little over 20 years, so it's a relatively new building. However, I think this impressive temple is one of the reasons why people come to Chiang Rai for sightseeing🤔 We stayed in Chiang Rai, but it's a popular spot and there are many day bus tours from Chiang Mai! 🚌(Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai is about 3 hours by car one way) If you want to do various sightseeing starting from Chiang Mai, we recommend a day tour⭐️⚠️However, if you want to take photos without many other people in them, we recommend staying in Chiang Rai and going first thing in the morning♡(We went around 8:30) From around 10:00, it gets very crowded and it may be very difficult to take a photo without other people on the road from the entrance to the main hall. .(It's a road that everyone will definitely take and a place where everyone wants to take photos) I also used an app to remove people from the 3rd and 4th photos. LOL ※Photography is prohibited in the main hall, but it's OK elsewhere May in Thailand is extremely hot, so I had a fruit smoothie🍍🍉🥭💛 at a fresh juice shop right in front of the temple, which was super cheap at 50 baht for this size, so please join us🍹 Add some excitement to your everyday life:🌙 ＊＊☑︎There are 4 ways to get to the White Temple from the center of Chiang Rai. •Bus •Tuk-tuk •Grab •You can get there by tour bus from Chiang Rai Bus Terminal by taking the direct bus to the White Temple or the blue route bus (number 8). (The ride takes about 20 minutes, 25 baht, every 30 minutes, so if you have time, I recommend it) Grab and tuk-tuk are about the same price, 150-200 baht. 📍 Wat Rong Khun, Chiangrai (Thailand)📮 Pa O Don Chai, Mueang Chiang Rai 🕙 8:00-17:00👛 Foreigners, adults 100 baht🚗 About 20 minutes by car from the center of Chiang Rai By the way, there are no direct flights from Japan to Chiang Rai, so I had a transfer in Bangkok✈️ (about 50 minutes by domestic flight from Bangkok) and my friend took a bus from Chiang Mai🚌 (about 3 hours one way, VIP 3-row bus about 1,600 yen, 4-row about 800 yen) There are no trains or planes to travel between Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai, so buses are the norm!! !
