Zhuoshui Ancient Town A national 5A-level scenic area and a Chinese historical and cultural town, located in the southeast corner of Zhuoshui Town, Qianjiang District, adjacent to the main tributary of the Wujiang River, the Apeng River. Zhuoshui Ancient Town rose in the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Song Dynasty, and gradually declined after the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is one of the famous ancient towns in southeastern Chongqing. The layout of the streets and alleys in the ancient town is relatively complete, presenting a pattern of "five streets, seven alleys, three palaces, and seven courtyards," with a strong style of ancient towns in southeastern Chongqing. This is a place where Ba culture, Tujia culture, and Han culture blend, and dock culture, merchant culture, and market town culture intertwine. Wind and Rain Bridge Known as the "No. 1 Wind and Rain Bridge in the World," the bridge is made of pure wood and has a beautiful shape. The continuous arc is like a rainbow across the Apeng River, a landmark building in the ancient town and a must-visit check-in place.
