Quiet Escape to 栗风Vintage & Cafe

On our first day in Chongqing, we visited a popular vintage cafe we found on Little Red Book – 栗风Vintage & Cafe. It wasn't the easiest place to locate, tucked away in an alley and up a set of stairs that didn’t quite show up properly on the map (Chongqing really lives up to its reputation as an 8D city!). But the little adventure was absolutely worth it. The moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed by charming vintage decor that gave the place so much character. The cafe is split into two sections – one is a vintage shop that sells curated luxury items like bags and watches, and the other is the cafe itself. Don’t expect a full menu here though; it’s a small, cosy spot that focuses mainly on coffee and homemade desserts. We ended up spending quite a bit of time there simply soaking in the atmosphere. It is peaceful, nostalgic, and has a calming vibe that makes you want to stay. We were also greeted by the owner’s adorable puppy, who was very curious and came to say hello to everyone who walked in. Sadly for me, she seemed to like my husband more! Next time we are in Chongqing, we will definitely make another stop here.
