Matcha Volcano Meets Spring Cherry Blossoms | Chengdu Valley Heals Inner Exhaustion

I've been seeing this place online for a while, but only after visiting in person did I realize how interesting it is. Two cats, three sheep, and two cows as neighbors, renting a whole mountain to dance on. Isn't this the idyllic life we all dream of? The road into the camp isn't easy, but the cherry blossoms along the way add a touch of spring to the rugged mountain path. Only then did I discover that places like Cherry Blossom Valley, filled with cherry trees, have such a rich fragrance. The sign at the entrance says reservations are required, so you know it won't be crowded. Perfect for introverts. The camp has two wooden cabins, surrounded by white mountain cherry blossoms, likely the original plants of the site. The trees are well-formed, clearly planted years ago. I have to say, the cabins have a certain "spirit" thanks to the trees. Compared to Japanese late-blooming cherry blossoms, these mountain cherry blossoms are actually our native variety, simply the flowers of the wild cherry tree. They bloom earlier than the ornamental varieties in the city. This week, they were nearing the end of their bloom, but this variety, with its pure white, delicate flowers, has a more ethereal quality. The most unique feature of this camp is the Matcha Volcano cabin. From a distance, it looks like a green volcano. Inside, it's a place to stay, like a piece of land art. To echo the volcano theme, the tree wells of the nearby elm trees are also shaped like volcanoes. In addition to the volcano-shaped cabin, there's a Japanese-style courtyard in one of the yards where you can enjoy a distant view of the emerald green lake of Likong Mountain. The mountain environment and the cats made me forget to take pictures for a while. I just wanted to bleat with the sheep and run around along the railway tracks.
