Wol-ak Mountain

#summervacay Okay, so I tackled Wol-ak Mountain's Yeongbong Peak (yeah, the one that's 1,097 meters up in the sky), and wow, what a ride. The trail starts out chill, almost lulls you into thinking, “Hey, I’ve got this.” Spoiler: you don’t. It gets steep fast and stays that way. But every drop of sweat is totally worth it. The views? Unreal. Rolling green ridges, cliffside drops, and that wind that hits just right when you're drenched in effort. There were a couple of sketchy rock sections, so bring grippy shoes and maybe a snack to stress-eat halfway up. At the top, Yeongbong Peak delivers a panorama that makes you forget how much your legs hurt. I just stood there, breathing it all in like some nature-loving warrior who conquered a mountain. If you’re near Jecheon and want a hike that makes you work but rewards you big, this is it. 10/10, would suffer again.
