Bernina - most scenic train in the world

Bernina Express is regarded as one of the most beautiful panoramic trains in the world. The Bernina Express is a direct train from Chur (Switzerland🇨🇭) to Tirano in Italy. This excursion should be included in your bucket list. My ride was back in November 19. Why Bernina? In just 4 hours (one way), you'll see stunning variations in the landscape, from high alpine scenery on the Bernina Pass to a Mediterranean atmosphere in the Poschiavo valley just before Tirano. The Landwasser Viaduct is a majestic sight. An impressive feat of engineering and construction, the viaduct was built in 1902 and features pillars that stand at a towering 65 metres. En route to Tirano, trains do stop at Alp Grum. Alp Grüm can only be accessed by train or on foot. The station provides impressive panoramic views, sweeping across the Poschiavo Valley and drawing your eye to the Bergamasker Alps beyond. How to get there? : Head to Chur from Zurich Main Station. The journey takes 1h 14m and departs every 30 minutes.
