“Little SAPA”

Ban E Tong, a small village in the valley of Pilok Subdistrict, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province, a former prosperous mining town, still maintains a tourist village full of natural beauty. During the rainy season, you will see fog covering the entire village, creating a very romantic and beautiful image. When we came here, it felt like Sapa, but it must be Sapa 30 years ago because they still use electricity. Overall, it looks like a small Sapa, both the atmosphere, the surrounding mountains, the houses, the decorative lights, and the lovely people. It seems that even near the village there is a viewpoint of the Elephant Hill (Sapa has Fansipan 😅) that you can take a songthaew to get to, but we walked up!!! But take the songthaew down, the path is quite difficult, especially during the rainy season, and you have to worry about leeches.
