Think of Arizona and most people’s first thought would be a dusty desert or possibly the rocky Grand Canyon. However entering the north of the state you will find yourself in a completely different biome with towering pine trees and alpine like mountains as far as the eye can see One of the best ways in which this area can be viewed is by a road trip on route 89a. This almost 100 mile route starts in the beautiful town of Prescott and its surrounding pine forest before descending towards Sedona and its unique rocky buttes. Following this the last part of the route travels through the oak creek canyon before arriving at the alpine college town of Flagstaff. #voyagevibes
