Basha Miao Village, a tribe hidden deep in the mountains!

Basha Miao Village is located in Congjiang County, Qiandongnan, Guizhou, and is composed of five natural villages with a total population of more than 2,000, of which more than 98% are Miao people. The pronunciation of the word "Basha" in the dictionary is "bā," but according to the local Miao language, it should be pronounced "biā." In the Miao language, Basha means "a place with many plants." ✨Legal gun ownership: It is the only village in China that can legally own guns. The current guns are actually more often used as a cultural display tool for performances to let more people understand the local traditional customs. ✨Sickle haircut: It is the only tribe in China that uses a sickle for haircuts. ✨Stilted buildings: Basha's villages are built on the mountains, with wooden stilted buildings with strong ethnic characteristics built along the slopes. ✅Transportation 1⃣️There are multiple high-speed trains and bullet trains from Guiyang to Congjiang, which take one and a half to two hours for a single trip.
