Kayangan Lake, Palawan, Philippines

We visited Kanyagan Lake with a boattour. You start at the other side of the mountain with a dock, there are lots of other tourist boats here and a few shops where you can buy snacks and even freshly cut coconuts. There’s also a toilet available. After climbing the steps up the mountain you go down towards the lake, this only takes about 7 minutes. Here, you can jump from the dock into the cleanest lake in The Philippines. The native people that inhabit Coron Island even believe it is sacred. When swimming it is mandatory to wear a life vest, if you bring your snorkelling gear you can see the impressive rock formations in the water. The tour usually stays in the more shallow area of 8-10 metres. Certainly a must-visit when in Coron! #philippinestrip
