Daedong Sky Park, a popular tourist destination in Daejeon these days

Daedong Sky Park, selected as one of the eight scenic views of Dong-gu, Daejeon, was created in December 2009 as part of the Rainbow Project. It has a windmill, which is its representative symbol. Located at an altitude of about 127m above sea level, you can enjoy a refreshing view of Daejeon and a wonderful night view when you look straight ahead in front of the windmill. In 2007, it was selected for a public art promotion project for improving the living environment of isolated areas conducted by the Public Art Promotion Committee under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and about 30 artists, led by the local art group Today Public Art Research Institute, installed murals and sculptures in the area for about 3 months and conducted art programs with children and adults. Since then, many media outlets have covered and reported on the area, and it has become a place of interest for many groups and individuals to visit. Later, it was selected for Dong-gu's "Creating a Truly Livable Village" project and received 20 million won in support. In addition, public officials from all over the country have visited Daejeon's Sky Park. Daejeon Metropolitan City has a dedicated staff member, but they are busy. After that, it was renovated in 2014 and new murals were added. You can enjoy a light hike from the summit to the ridge trail. But what I remember is the ramen vending machine on the ridge trail.
