【Cable car ride experience】Visiting Cangshan Mountain in Dali, Yunnan

#Cable car I spent more than two days in Dali this year and arranged a trip to Dali Cangshan. As we were in a hurry and had to return to Kunming in the afternoon, we decided to take the cable car up and down the Cangshan Mountain to avoid missing the high-speed train in the afternoon. There are currently three cableways in Cangshan, which are connected by a Jade Belt Cloud Travel Road. After some research, I finally chose the Gantong Cableway in Cangshan to take the cable car. 🏔First arrive at Cangshan Geopark, enter through the gate, climb a short flight of stairs to the boarding point, and start queuing. Since we arrived early, there weren't too many people there, so we didn't have to wait in line for long before getting on the cable car. The view on the cable car is great. Looking up, you can see the Cangshan Mountain which is so close, with the snow on the top of the mountain that never melts. Looking down, you can overlook the blue Erhai Lake and the nearby villages and towns. The beautiful scenery of Dali is right before your eyes! After arriving at the pick-up point on the mountain, you can get off the bus and explore the mountain on your own. We walked up a short distance, passing Hougu Coffee and Gantong Tea House. Unfortunately, the Gantong Tea House was not open yet, so we couldn’t experience the fun of drinking tea in the mountains. In the end, we bought a cup of coffee in Hougu and sat for a while. On the way back, we took the downhill section of the cable car and returned to the initial boarding point. During the journey, we once again saw the landscape from a high altitude perspective on the cable car.
