⛱️ Must-see attractions: Dali Erhai Lake, Lijiang Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge and Pudacuo National Park Amidst our busy lives, our family of seven embarked on a dreamy 8-day, 7-night journey to Yunnan. On this trip, we measured the romance of Dali, the magnificence of Lijiang, and the sanctity of Shangri-La with our footsteps. Every landscape and every bite of delicious food became the most precious memory of our journey. - Dali Erhai Lake: Romance in a land of wind, flowers, snow, and moon. Erhai Lake is like a huge blue gem, inlaid on the land of Dali. We rode along the East Erhai Lake Road, with the breeze blowing on our faces and the sun shining on the sparkling lake, as if time had slowed down. In the Ideal Land of the East Erhai Lake, we felt as if we were in Santorini. The blue and white buildings are well-arranged and are an excellent place for taking pictures. Every shot is a blockbuster. - Lijiang Jade Dragon Snow Mountain: A holy mountain and sacred place, magnificent and divine. Taking the cable car slowly upwards, the scenery in front of us gradually changed from lush mountains and forests to a world of silver. When we stood on the 4,680-meter peak, overlooking the continuous mountains and the magnificent sea of clouds, the shock in our hearts was beyond words. At the foot of the mountain, Blue Moon Valley has jewel-like blue water, shimmering with a charming light under the sunlight, a breathtaking beauty. - Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge: Turbulent waves, majestic momentum. Standing on the viewing platform, watching the surging river water hit the huge rocks like thousands of horses galloping, making a deafening roar, we were in awe of the power of nature. Going down along the boardwalk, we felt the majestic momentum of the river up close. The splashing water hit our faces, bringing a hint of coolness. - Shangri-La Pudacuo National Park: A pure land on earth, peaceful and serene. This is an unpolluted fairy tale world, where the lakes are like mirrors, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds, and the surrounding green mountains and trees. Strolling on the boardwalk, breathing the fresh air, and admiring the scenery along the way, we could occasionally see cute little squirrels shuttling through the forest, as if walking into a beautiful landscape painting. 🍲Must-try food: The Xixiang Feng Restaurant in Xizhou Ancient Town is very good, with an average of 50 per person. The price/performance ratio is super high and the taste is also super good. In Xizhou Ancient Town, we accidentally discovered a treasure restaurant - Xixiang Feng Restaurant. This restaurant is full of strong local characteristics. The decoration style is simple and elegant, making people feel particularly kind. The signature dish, Xizhou Baba, has a crispy crust and a soft and glutinous filling. There are two options: sweet and savory. Every bite allows you to feel the perfect fusion of wheat and filling. There is also the sour and spicy Erhai fish, with its fresh, tender and smooth fish and rich soup. One bite is full of happiness. The seaview hotel in Dali was even more value for money at 369 yuan per night. Adding up the costs of food, car rental, etc., the total cost for our family of seven for 8 days and 7 nights was within a reasonable range, truly achieving a cost-effective and joyful trip.
