If you're planning to take pictures here, it's worth considering staying at the hotel—after all, the afternoon tea costs 200 RMB per person, so you might as well book a room. The hotel is right by Erhai Lake, with stunning sea views from the garden! Sipping a drink in the garden at sunset is pure bliss. I stayed in a mountain-view room on the second floor, which was exquisitely designed in an English style—every corner felt meticulously crafted. A culinary delight! The hotel breakfast is incredibly lavish—a Western-style spread enjoyed by the lakeside, making for an utterly blissful morning. In the evening, they even treated us to a barbecue with a variety of fresh dishes. By the shores of Erhai Lake in Dali's Shuanglang, there lies a dreamlike haven—Lakeside Cloud Retreat. Stepping into its courtyard, lush with greenery and flowers, felt like entering an otherworldly fairy tale. The most enchanting part is its prime location facing Erhai Lake. Sitting on a cozy chair, you’re greeted by the shimmering waters and a gentle breeze that brings a refreshing coolness. On a tranquil afternoon, holding a cup of rich coffee or floral tea, you can savor this serene beauty. With soft music in the background and breathtaking views before you, time seems to stand still just for this moment.
